Every few years, a band comes out of the UK that makes the whole scene sit up. Within Reach are the next contenders.
The London metalcore outfit have opened 2026 with a run of singles; Hesitate, followed by Liar & The Host that announce a band who've found their sound and know exactly what to do with it. Sharp, anthemic, and built to fill rooms far bigger than the ones they're currently playing, the new music signals great ambition from a group who've barely scratched the surface of what they're capable of.
What makes that more striking is how young they are.
Between them, they've already pulled off what most bands spend years grinding towards; landing their music across Download Festival's main stage via a campaign with fashion brand Mary Wyatt, earning Featured Artist of the Week on Kerrang! Radio, and picking up serious airplay and praise from BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock's Alyx Holcombe. Sharing the stage with established acts including We Came As Romans, Oceans Ate Alaska, Avralize, and Kid Bookie has sharpened their live performance into a heavy-hitting experience that is turning heads.
The biggest music of their career is still yet to come.
